Packaging
Our Skin Reset jar is made from frosted plastic with a plastic cap created from imported virgin materials. It is circularly designed with a detachable refill pod that should be returned to us when empty through our ‘Beauty Circle’ initiative where it will be sterilised and refilled.
Our Skin Reset box is 100% recyclable. Printed on environmentally responsible PEFC certified paper and printed using oil free, vegetable based inks with water based coatings, our boxes will biodegrade leaving no nasty chemicals.

Application

Massage 1 pump of Skin Reset into your face and neck, after cleansing and before sunscreen. Massage into your face and neck using an upwards, circular motion to physically stimulate blood flow. Use daily morning and night.
A little reminder that when it comes to managing the appearance of hyperpigmentation it takes ongoing:
Sun exposure is the number one trigger of hyperpigmentation and the leading cause of skin ageing. The sun’s rays affect your skin even on cloudy days, so always protect with a verified SPF 30+ sunscreen such as Skin Shield everyday.
If your skin has years of sun exposure and damage, patience is needed to get results. With daily use, you should see visible results within 4 weeks.

In Vitro
An in vitro clinical test by an independent biomedical laboratory (2019) scientifically compared Skin Reset with 9 market leading vitamin C, cosmeceuticals and high-end traditional brightening creams.
Results
- Of the 9 products tested, only 2 (including Skin Reset) were effective at inhibiting hyperpigmentation. The remaining 7 were found to have limited effects on the production of hyperpigmentation.
- Of the 2 products that were effective in inhibiting hyperpigmentation, Emma Lewisham Skin Reset saw the strongest results within 24 hours.

In Vivo
An independent in vivo double blind scientific study (2018) measured the production and reduction of hyperpigmentation on 25 women over 12 weeks.

Methodology
- Twenty five subjects between the ages of 20 and 60.
- Subjects showed evidence of signs of facial hyperpigmentation on both sides of the face including freckles, sun spots, age spots, melasma, uneven skin tone and acne scarring.
- Assessment of the test sites were completed pre-application and following application of Emma Lewisham Skin Reset and Cosmeceutical brand at 6 and 12 weeks.
- Instrumental measurements, a questionnaire regarding the acceptability, efficacy and tolerability of the products and digital photographs and visual grading were done at pre-application, six and twelve weeks.
- Emma Lewisham Skin Reset and a Cosmeceutical were applied twice daily and sunscreen applied in the morning.
- A photographic record was kept of the hyperpigmentation area on the skin at each time point.
- No adverse reactions were observed during the study.

Pigmentation is reduced via two different biological pathways.
